Webinar on volunteering organized by the Volunteering Center at Benguet State University

A webinar “Volunteering Amidst the Pandemic” was organized by the INNOTAL team and the Student Volunteering Center at Benguet State University on October 26, 2021.
The INNOTAL team raised awareness of the activities and objectives of the Volunteering Center. The first resource speaker, Dr. Ryan C. Guinaran, gave a talk on the topic "Sustaining the Culture of Community Volunteerism". He shared the activities carried out at the Outstanding Students of CAR Alumni Community (OSCAR), whose Chairman he is. He discussed and highlighted five things to consider in volunteering – Free will, Organizational Setting, Reward, Level of Commitment, and Nature of Benefit. The second resource speaker was Dr. Michael Conrad Borillo, who shared his volunteerism experience while being a student.
The third resource speaker was Hon. Apolinario Bagano Jr. The highlight of his talk was about the COVID response programs under the SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) level of La Trinidad.
Around 40 students participated in the event.
