RK Talent Lab co-organized ANWESHA - The Quest for Innovation for women entrepreneurs, in collaboration with GTU Innovation and Start up Centre and ACE – International Automobile Centre of Excellence

In anticipation of Women's Day, on February 22, 2022, RK University hosted the event  ANWESHA - The Quest for Innovation. The workshop was organized in cooperation with Institutional Innovation Council, GISC – GTU Innovation and Start up Centre and ACE – International Automobile Centre of Excellence, AICAtal Incubation Center. The whole program was focused mainly on women entrepreneurs and aimed at promoting innovation and nurturing ideas for startups in the Saurashtra Region. 
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Denish Patel, Executive Vice President of RK University who also presented the opportunities that the KS Patel Centre for Entrepreneurship at RK University and the INNOTAL Talent Lab provide for women wishing to improve their employability or become entrepreneurs. Guests of Honor were entrepreneurs Mr. Sudeep and Mr. Shyam Raichura who gave guidance and motivated future female entrepreneurs. Grassroots innovator Ms. Vaishali Parekh, who has started her startup in the field of education and is also the winner of many awards, motivated students by sharing her startup story. An online speech was delivered by Mr. D.R. Parmar – Joint Commissioner Startup Cell, Gujarat who provided guidance regarding the government scheme and policies to kick-start the startup ideas of women entrepreneurs and to extend the benefits of the incubation cell. In addition to that a Brainstorming session was conducted by the team of ACE-International Automobile Centre of Excellence.
The second session of Anwesha was dedicated to a Pitch Competition where young females eapiring to become entrepreneurs had the chance to win the competiton Prize. The jury panel members were experts from various fields - industrialists, academic experts and founders of young & growing startups including Ms. Nisha Kotecha and Mr. Shyam Raichura. The Prize was awarded to student of Physiotherapy Ms. Nidhi Ved for the innovative idea for measuring fluctuating heartbeats and oxygen level. 
The event came to a successful completion with a Vote of Thanks speech by Mr. Dushyant Joshi - Incubation Manager & Faculty Coordinator of INNOTAL Talent Co-Creation Lab at KS Patel Centre for Entrepreneurship, RK University. He thanked the teams of GISC – GTU Innovation and Start Up Centre and ACE – International Automobile Centre of Excellence for their vision and mission to cultivate grassroots women innovation and nurture a brighter future.
