Stakeholder workshop at Pokhara University, Nepal

Pokhara University held a consultation with external stakeholders probably for the first time in its history. Over 20 stakeholders, mostly representing industry and the business community, gathered in Pokhara to discuss the issue of graduates’ employability in Nepal and the responsibility of universities to provide quality higher education. Pokhara University presented the INNOTAL project and the plans to kick-start innovation activities involving external organizations (business, non-profits and public agencies) in order to produce graduates with relevant skills and knowledge. The results and the received feedback were very important for the future strategic plans of the University to improve the quality of the education that it provides. The event was held February 8, 2019 in the city of Pokhara.
