Final dissemination event organized by University of Hyderabad, India

The final dissemination event organized by University of Hyderabad, India, took place online September 29, 2021.
17 external stakeholders and 4 university stakeholders participated. The external stakeholders included representatives of companies, industry networks (Federation of Asian Biotech Association), other educational and training institutions, government institutions (Telangana State Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute, National Institute for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises), NGOs and representatives from the Government of Telangana. The university stakeholders included the project team and faculty members.
The event focused on presenting the results from the project, and discussing future avenues of collaboration with the external stakeholders.
The participants opined that they are eager collaborate on organising training programmes for the faculty and students, on designing diagnostic instruments for assessing the abilities of entry-level students, on providing opportunities for exposure of students to social work and internships, on training students to become administrators and policymakers,  on inviting big national projects like National Rural Livelihood Mission to recruit students into their projects so that students get exposure to voluntary work. One of the participants who represented a healthcare-sector organisation mentioned that they fund 50+ innovators who are young University graduates working towards addressing long-standing issues in healthcare, including COVID-19. All participants expressed eagerness to take forward the dialogue and work with the University. The project team is working on developing a concrete action plan with each organisation that participated in the meeting.
