Final dissemination event organized by Pokhara University, Nepal
The final dissemination event organized by Pokhara University, Nepal, took place online September 18, 2021.
18 external stakeholders participated, including representatives of companies, other higher education institutions (Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Tamil Nadu Institute of Labour Studies), and representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy, Nepalese Student Welfare Society, Nepal Tourism Board and a consultant working for the United Nations.
The event was chaired by Dr. Daya Raj Dhakal, Dean of Faculty of Management Studies, followed by a welcome speech Mr. Moiz Khan, the President of Student Volunteering Center. The agenda focused on presenting the results and impact of the INNOTAL project, including the Talent Co-Creation Lab. Special attention was given to discussing the opportunities to improve graduates’ employability through collaborative activities with external partners. The University Curriculum Development Center and Pokhara University Research Center shared their plans and ideas for sustaining the project results.
The event was successful in introducing students to external stakeholders and new opportunities for collaboration. The University also got some feedback and learned external partners' views and suggestions on designing joint activities
